As a Security Guard - Retail Foot Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to customer needs with clear, professional communication. You will support store teams by observing activity, reporting concerns, and assisting with incident response. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and contacting local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and the perimeter to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other unwanted activity.Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or hazards, then communicate observations to store leadership and Allied Universal supervision and complete required written and/or electronic reports.Support store operations by providing a visible presence, assisting customers with directions and general questions, and controlling access to restricted areas according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of security experience.Customer service experience is preferred.A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
