As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver - Technology Site in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic tech location. Your presence and engagement will provide peace of mind to those on site, while you assist with various security-related needs and deliver exceptional customer service. This position also requires driving responsibilities as part of your patrol duties, making adaptability and reliability essential in this fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to provide assistance and support as needed.Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.Work collaboratively with other team members to support overall security-related operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

At least one year of security-related experience is required.Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.A guard card or license is preferred.Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
