As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver in Friendly, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal at an industrial location where you will support access control by greeting visitors, checking credentials, issuing badges, and documenting activity using a computer and/or tablet. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, with mobile checks to help maintain site awareness. Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Control access at entrances and/or gates by verifying identification, managing visitor registration, issuing and collecting badges, and directing authorized personnel to the proper location.Monitor and document inbound and outbound activity including deliveries, contractors, and vehicles, completing logs and reports according to site requirements.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as required by post orders.Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter, reporting unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns per site policy.Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Primarily driving post experience is preferred.Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.Alarm panel experience is preferred.Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
