Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and shoppers by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail and mall location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access control issues, disturbances, and medical calls as directed by post orders.Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout interior common areas, storefront corridors, loading areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and policy concerns.Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems as assigned, and communicate observations promptly to site leadership, local responders, and/or Allied Universal supervision.Document and report shift activity, incidents, and patrol results in written logs and reports, and assist with investigations by preserving observations and collecting available information.Minimum Requirements:
Security Experience ‐ 1+ Years is required.Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.Loss Prevention is preferred.Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.Customer Service Experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
