As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols on foot and by vehicle, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming customer experience through clear communication and quick response to concerns. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail and mall environment.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including handling disturbances, medical situations, and requests for assistance from store leadership.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.Monitor entry and exit activity and observe customer and employee traffic patterns, reporting suspicious activity and/or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.Complete required incident reports and daily activity logs, communicate important updates during shift transitions, and assist with investigations by providing accurate observations and documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Customer service experience is preferred.CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.Alarm panel experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
