As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will complete detailed reports, support access control as needed, and provide strong customer service through clear communication with site staff and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will use a company or site vehicle while following AU Driver Policy requirements.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to site employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations at a utilities location in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as directed.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, treatment areas, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to identify unusual conditions, unsecured doors, and other security-related concerns.Control access by verifying identification and/or work authorization for visitors and contractors, directing authorized individuals to designated areas, and documenting entries and exits per post orders.Complete detailed activity and incident reports, monitor site alarms and/or cameras when assigned, and communicate timely updates to supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.Customer service experience is preferred.Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
