Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.Perform armed patrol duties, maintaining control of issued equipment per Allied Universal and site requirements, and help to deter unauthorized activity through high-visibility presence.Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter fencing, noting hazards, suspicious conditions, and access concerns and/or maintenance issues for follow up.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and local first responders as directed by post orders.Monitor access points, alarms, and camera systems where assigned, verify credentials for entry, and complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and daily activities.Minimum Requirements:
Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.Have a TSA issued TWIC.Have an armed guard card and/or license.Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.Be at least 21 years of age.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
