As a Security Guard - CPR Patrol Rounds in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a shelter location where your presence and professionalism help promote a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine foot patrols, monitor activity, manage access control and visitor badge processes as needed, and document security-related incidents with clear communication. Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a shelter location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and notifying on-site personnel and/or emergency services as required by post orders.Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including common spaces, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.Monitor access points, verify identification and/or authorization when required, and assist with visitor management and resident check-in or check-out processes per site procedures.Document patrols, incident details, and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff.Minimum Requirements:
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
