As a Security Guard - Armed Entry Control in Brooksville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener in a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Conduct screening of individuals entering the location, following established protocols to help to deter prohibited items or unauthorized access.Provide customer service by assisting visitors and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as instructed by Allied Universal and the location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.Maintain accurate records of screening activities and report any irregularities to appropriate personnel.Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members to support security-related operations at the location.Minimum Requirements:
Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.Possess an armed guard card or license.Be at least 21 years of age.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
