As a Security Guard - Armed Entry Control in Brooksville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener in a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Conduct screening of individuals entering the location, following established protocols to help to deter prohibited items or unauthorized access.Provide customer service by assisting visitors and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as instructed by Allied Universal and the location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.Maintain accurate records of screening activities and report any irregularities to appropriate personnel.Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members to support security-related operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.Possess an armed guard card or license.Be at least 21 years of age.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
