Job responsibilities
Executes security solutions design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to apply knowledge of existing security solutions to satisfy security requirements for internal clients (e.g., product, platform, application owners)Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systemsApplies specialized tools (e.g., vulnerability scanner) to analyze and correlate incident data to identify, interpret, and summarize the probability and impact of threats when determining specific vulnerabilitiesLeads delivery of continuity-related awareness, training, educational activities, and exercisesAdds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respectRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Obtain 2+ years experience of software development experience. Experience developing security engineering solutionsStrong understanding of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or GoOverall knowledge of the Software Development Life CycleExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailSolid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and securityPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsKnowledge of micro services architecture and related security considerations.Experience with network security tools and practices, such as firewalls, VPNsExperience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like TerraformFamiliarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their security features.
