Job Description • Responsible for establishing, documenting, and maintaining security standards across all systems and networks. • Responsible for security hardware and software configuration, including but not limited to Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Web & Mail Filtering, Endpoint Security products. • Responsible for identifying, defining, documenting and communicating security risks and vulnerabilities to leadership. • Responsible for Incident Response planning, implementation, and execution • Coordinates efforts with systems, network, operations, and technical support staff to establish and modify network configurations to ensure quality, integrity, and performance. • Monitors network performance and resolves problem areas as needed. • Owns, tracks, and resolves security related issues and requests. • Develops and maintains policies and procedures for network implementation, usage, and disaster recovery in cooperation with Network and Systems Engineers. Provide backup support for the Systems Engineer and/or Network Engineer as required. Skills and Requirements • 5+ years of Security Engineer experience. • 2+ years of systems or network administration required. • 1+ year of supervising technical staff. • Bachelor's Degree. Healthcare Experience. CISSP certification preferred.
