As a Security Coordinator – Level 3 your role at Huntsville, AL will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security. In this job, you will:

Be responsible for database entry and maintenance pertaining to personnel folders, classified safes, and other NISPOM compliance requirementsProduce employee and guest badges, identification cards, and security reader cardsProcess security information and data for employment records, security clearances, and property controlMaintain lock and key recordsProcess visit authorizations for employees and guests to gain access to restricted areasVerify accuracy of information prior to issuing clearancesMaintain controlled security documents and informationSupport a fast-paced high-profile environmentCreate, maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customersDevelop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive security education, training, and awareness programMeticulous record-keeping and responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheetsPerform clearance verification, escorting, and access control activities in and around secure facilitiesManage secure conference room calendars and offer security support for meetings, order supplies, and complete all other administrative tasks as assignedOther duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experienceRequires an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scopeExperienced with computers and desktopsExperienced with Microsoft office software products (Word, Excel etc...)

 Preferred Qualifications:  

Experience with 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM rule and DoDM 5205.07 Special Access Program Security ManualProficient with SIMS/DISSCompleted security training (ex. CDSE)Basic knowledge of access controls and security systems

Northrop Grumman Total Rewards 

Primary Level Salary Range: $49,100.00 - $81,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
