Securities Settlement Section, Senior Associate

Who we are looking for 

 

We are looking for a Senior Associate reporting directly to Section Head of Settlement Section You will be in charge to take care all tasks dedicated to the function, in accordance with the policies and procedures in place. 

 

Why this role is important to us 

 

The team you will be joining is a part of Securities Service Department / Settlement Section, a function that is vital to the company as they are in charge to monitor client’s instructions, to supervise the settlement of trade instructions on several markets. 

 

What you will be responsible for 

Ensure the proper execution of the tasks dedicated to the function, in accordance with the policies and procedures in place. Drive the accurate and timely completion of all settlement-related activities, ensuring strict adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and established operational procedures. Proactively identify discrepancies or risks, escalate issues when needed, and contribute to maintaining a high‑quality, compliant settlement environment. 

Participate to improve market practices knowledge among the team. Actively contribute to the team’s expertise by sharing insights on evolving market standards, regulatory changes, and operational best practices. Support continuous learning initiatives, provide guidance to colleagues, and help strengthen the team’s overall understanding of industry developments that may affect settlement processes. 

Endorsing the role of Section Head back-up in case of absences. Serve as a reliable back‑up to the Section Head, ensuring continuity of daily operations during absences. Take responsibility for overseeing task allocation, monitoring team workflow, supporting decision‑making, and maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee seamless service delivery.

Education & Preferred Qualifications 

Bachelor in Accounting  

Banking or Economics experience 

Knowledge of financial instruments 

Excellent overall banking knowledge  

Proficiency in both written and spoken English 

 

Additional requirements 

MICROSOFT SUITE (VBA proficiency is an asset) 

Proficiency in Custody and Banking Systems  

SWIFT Alliance 

 

Work Requirement 

Late Shift until 07.00PM
