As a Product Analyst in the Securities Services – Analytics, AI & Data Strategy team, you will help deliver impactful data and analytics solutions by collaborating with cross-functional partners. Work closely with the Product team to provide insights and data for applications and systems, gaining exposure to product management and delivery to prepare for a thriving career at JPMorgan Chase.
Job responsibilitiesWorks with the broader Analytics, AI and Data Strategy team to execute Securities Services’ data, analytics and AI initiatives across all major products and stakeholder groupsPartners closely with AI/ML research, Data Product Development, Quantitative Research, Sales, Client Service, Business Managers, Operations and Technology team to learn techniques to elicit, specify, discover, and document business requirementsProvides regular status updates, monitors project progress, and supports the full program delivery lifecycle, including activities within Technology sprints. Assists in tracking data modernization and AI initiatives, and helps organize and document meetings with stakeholdersActs as a supporting point of contact for product-related questions, resolving issues and managing risks such as data bottlenecksCoordinates ad-hoc research and resolves daily issues, data requests, reporting needs, and regulatory requirements impacting data and analytics projectsSupports the Product team by analyzing business needs and identifying opportunities for data-driven improvementsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsUndergraduate degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics)Baseline knowledge or exposure to analytics concepts and tools Ability to work collaboratively in teams and communicate clearlyEmerging understanding of the product development life cycleStrong attention to detail, organization, and willingness to learnPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsInternship or coursework experience in data analytics, product management, or technologyExposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx) or basic programming (e.g., Python, SQL) is a plusExcel, PowerPoint; familiarity with JIRA or Confluence is a plusFamiliarity with AI/ML concepts through university projects or online coursesProactive attitude and ability to manage multiple tasks
