Job summary
As a Proposal Writer in the Securities Services Sales Enablement Group, you’ll collaborate with sales, product, and subject matter experts to develop persuasive proposals and pitchbooks. You’ll manage multiple projects, synthesize input from diverse stakeholders, and ensure our materials reflect client needs and firm strategy. This role is based in New York and reports to the Americas Proposals Manager.
Job responsibilities
Create best-in-class proposals for the Americas region and other regions as neededManage proposals and relationship documents, utilizing excellent written communicationProject manage multiple documents with different stakeholders and tight deadlinesReview and analyze proposal needs to determine key project requirements and construct tailored materialsGenerate initial drafts using content knowledge base and other sourcesOrganize teams of subject matter experts and coordinate their timely inputInterface with management and sales staff to ensure proposals meet client/prospect requirements and reflect bid strategyDrive the deal process and provide consultative input and direction toward completionProactively identify risks and red flags that may derail projectsSynthesize information from multiple stakeholders into professional, competitive proposals aligned with firm brandingCoordinate with subject matter experts and content manager to update central knowledge baseBuild and maintain relationships with internal clients across regions, understanding cultural nuancesCommunicate effectively with the Regional Proposal Manager regarding activity in the regionRepresent the best interests of Securities Services and the Sales Enablement Group in all interactionsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Solid background in writing sales documents, understanding key messages and unique selling pointsDemonstrated understanding of the securities services industry and associated productsStrong project management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage tight schedulesExcellent verbal and written communication skills; able to engage and influence partners and stakeholdersAdvanced degree or post-graduate diploma preferred but not requiredAdvanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Knowledge and experience with Qvidian and Salesforce preferredAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships globallySelf-starter with sound judgment and ability to operate independently and apply initiative
