The Securities & Derivatives Analyst 2 is an intermediate level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to facilitate the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the clearing, settlement and Risk Management activities of client’s exchange traded derivatives transactionsUnderstand and build sound knowledge of derivatives and capital marketsMargin monitoring, Position limit monitoring and Trade confirmations, Cash and non-cash collateral managementPerform operational activities for reconciliations and client reportingSupport the traders / execution desk with contracting, calculating commissions, preparing various MISs and addressing ad-hoc queriesReporting and reconciling trades and positions in Global systems like Clear Vision and GMITreasury management and funding arrangementsSenior management MIS reporting, P&L reportingSanctions screening and Name screeningBe familiar with various internal and Exchange applications to complete daily activitiesAdhere to various internal and exchange timelines while performing the activitiesActively contribute in various developments and automation initiatives, Performing system UATsRegulatory reporting with stringent timelinesAdhering to Citi Internal policy requirements

Qualifications:

4-8 years of relevant experienceFundamental understanding of Capital markets and derivative productsProven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated knowledge of MS Excel

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance
