Working as part of a cross-functional team, you are an internally recognized expert in a critical technical area for the RDQ process development function. You identify, define and solve complex technical and business problems by applying your broad technical and in-depth knowledge. You oversee the delivery of assigned programs, support new programs/platforms linked to business objectives and use your expertise in your technical area when interacting with senior management and global cross-functional teams to help deliver on current and future demands of the business.
How you will contribute
You will support technically focused projects and use your technical expertise to guide, direct and influence activities lead by others and to ensure the right solutions are developed, future breakthrough opportunities are identified, and executable programs are implemented with technical rigor. In this role, you will be accountable for the technical outcomes of process developments activities (e.g. process design and specifications, process scale up, commissioning etc.) and for quantifying the technical risks your projects and those lead by others, offering recommendations and conclusions and influencing senior stakeholders when making business decisions. As a leader in your technical field, you will develop and leverage connections internally and with the external technical partners. As a leader of people, you will create a culture that fosters intellectual properties to drive competitive advantage; manage an internal team of process developers and work with cross-functional partners to establish resource and budget needs to deliver the requirements in your business area of responsibility; provide strategic leadership in your process technology area and/or process development program, and; mentor and coach others to grow technical talent.

Responsibilities
Leading a large multi-disciplinary team in the area of Breakthrough Process Development for the Global Chocolate Category. Based in the largest Mondelez chocolate Innovation Centre.People Management: Leading a team of engineers and scientists with varying levels of experience to deliver a funnel of Breakthrough Process initiatives from ideation through to deployment.Stakeholder Management: Lead communication with Global and Regional cross-functional stakeholders at all levels to achieve alignment on Process Development strategy.Technical Leadership: Provide technical coaching and process expertise within the Process Development team and the wider Global organization.Requirements
Extensive experience with food process technologies within R&D and/or manufacturing environments. Proven leadership of large, multi-disciplinary teams with a focus on performance, coaching, and capability development. Solid expertise in process engineering, product and process design, and commercialization. Broad technical understanding of food processes, ingredients, technologies, and formulations. Strong business acumen with the ability to integrate R&D, manufacturing, and commercial strategies. Demonstrated success influencing senior stakeholders and managing complex internal and external partnerships. Clear and effective communication skills, enabling collaboration across functions and geographies. Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, complex, and evolving environment while managing multiple priorities. Consumer focused – not thinking only as engineering but as a consumer.Education: degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.Work Type: hybrid (2-3x a week in the office).
