Performs office management duties. Must be Field Operational as needed. Works with a variety of people and organizations on a professional level to provide care to patients and the community. Arrive to work everyday dressed appropriately , may include Ems boots/pants and uniform shirt.
Essential Functions
Completes development and documentation assignments, working in conjunction with the
EMS director, medical service director, and EMS training coordinators relative to state, regional, facility, and departmental requirements for EMS policy, regulation, facility accreditation and
licensing.
Completes payroll time sheets and weekly overtime reports in absence of the director.
Completes departmental billing process for each completed trip. Maintains monthly registry of
contracted financial agreements. Prepares transaction statements and account tracking of such.
Maintains EMS department subscription program, including development, distribution, and
updating, the monthly financial statements.
Liaison with the public include services information, transport scheduling, and membership subscriptions.
Maintains certification and license file for all departmental employees.
Maintains familiarity with and follows all company rules, policies, and procedures as outlined in
the operations manual.
Maintains familiarity with and follows all hospital policies, and procedures as outlined in
the administrative and departmental policy manuals.
Coordinates and oversees documentation for the organization. Is able to act as a resource for the staff.
