Under the direction of the Manager, Regional Laundry, the Coordinator, Regional Laundry assists the Manager in the day to day operations of the Laundry. Assists with duties related to the production of laundry and the processing of linens. Assists with ensuring that written Policies and Procedures and work standards comply with professional, legal, and hospital standards
Travel may be a requirement of this position. Transportation arrangements must meet the operational requirements of the Vancouver Island Health Authority in accordance with the service assignment and may require the use of a personal vehicle.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And ExperienceCompletion of Certified Laundry and Linen Management Course from the Association for Linen Management or another recognized Laundry Management Program. Five years' recent related experience in laundry management, or an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience.
Valid BC Driver's License.
