Reporting to the Manager or designate, the Digital Systems Administrator is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, modifying and decommissioning designated databases and digital platforms to support capture, administration and reporting of data and exchange of information including complex reports to MSHU leadership to assist in planning and oversight of care delivery and coordination activities. The Digital Systems Administrator establishes and maintains standardized processes and guidance resources for designated regional digital knowledge exchange platforms as well as maintaining the content for assigned digital knowledge exchange platforms.
The position provides training, monitoring and ongoing support, in relation to assigned system, to MHSU operational (direct care and regional support) teams and leaders as well as other impacted parties. The Administrator also provides a variety of documentation such as written correspondence, standard system procedure guidance resources for MHSU operational (direct care and regional support) teams and leaders, as well as complex statistical reports and charts.
QUALIFICATIONS:Education, Training And ExperienceDiploma in Computer Science, Health Information Management, Administration or Database Management; and Two (2) years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience, including working knowledge of health care delivery information and data systems; and Certification in Microsoft technologies (MS-900, MCITP, MCTS, etc.) and products including Excel and SharePoint Online; and Experience with a range of software and technology systems such as: REDCap, Cerner, Excel, PowerBI.Skills And AbilitiesAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to work independently and in cooperation with others. Demonstrated high competency for initiative, judgement and ability to organize time and prioritize work. Demonstrated high competency to plan, monitor and implement various work projects and assignments without detailed supervision. Ability to anticipate potential problems and take appropriate action. Demonstrated knowledge of practices and procedures related to computer equipment, networks, and software applications and capacity to adopt and advance evolving technologies. Demonstrated knowledge of design/construction, facilitation, troubleshooting, and administration for Microsoft 365 applications (e.g. SharePoint online, Teams, Channels, OneDrive, Lists) as well as Microsoft SQL Server technologies, Power Query, Power Automate, VBA skills, APIs for connecting SharePoint to other applications and services. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript for customization. Ability to provide demonstrations and train groups and individuals on database and other systems. Ability to maintain software applications. Ability to develop, administer and generate usable systems and products using database, word processing, spreadsheet and graphics software. Ability to create and maintain digital training materials and quick reference guides within a variety of different learning styles and ability levels.
