SEC Reporting Manager
Description A fast-growing biotechnology company is seeking an SEC Reporting Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the financial story of a company that’s advancing science and improving health outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Lead SEC Filings: Prepare and file 10-Qs, 10-Ks, 8-Ks, and registration statements in compliance with SEC and US GAAP standards Deliver Financial Excellence: Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements with accuracy and timeliness Be a Technical Expert: Research and resolve complex accounting issues, including revenue recognition, leases, and stock-based compensation Strengthen Controls: Ensure SOX compliance and support internal and external audits Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with FP&A, Treasury, Legal, and Investor Relations to align on key financial deliverables Innovate & Improve: Continuously enhance reporting processes and stay ahead of regulatory changes Skills financial reporting, 10-K, 10-Q, gaap, CPA, accounting, sec filing, 8-k, SOX, SEC compliance, XBRL, gaap accounting, month end, gaap principles, sec reporting, sox compliance, internal control, audit, reporting, financial statement, public accounting, general ledger, Netsuite, sox audit, audit preparation, financial statement preparation, disclosures, revenue recognition, research Top Skills Details financial reporting,10-K,10-Q,gaap,CPA,accounting,sec filing,8-k,SOX,SEC compliance,XBRL Additional Skills & Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA required Experience: 5–7+ years in SEC reporting, along with experience in both private & public accounting (Big 4 preferred) Skills: Deep knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and XBRL Strong analytical and communication skills Proficiency in ERP and financial reporting systems Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities Experience Level Expert Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
