The company has commercialized AlloMap Gene Expression Profile Testing which aids physicians in surveillance of heart transplant recipients. New data was recently presented at ISHLT 2014 that further supports the clinical utility of AlloMap. CareDx Inc. also develops new tests for other solid organ transplantation which are in development.Job DescriptionSpecificationsTitle SEC ManagerManager ControllerFLSA ExemptClassification Full TimeDepartment FinanceLocation Brisbane CAManagement NoneGeneral DescriptionResponsibilities include but not necessarily limited toResponsible for the accurate and timely management of the Companyaposs public reporting process including the quarterly supplemental analyst package and SEC filings including Forms 10 K 10 Q 8 K etc. working with various departments of the Company.Prepare all financial statements footnote disclosures and managements discussion and analysis MDampA for Forms 10 K 10 Q 8 K etc.Work closely with CFO Controller bankers legal counsel auditors and others within the organization to prepare registration filings as needed.Implement and execute upon Global Accounting Policies and SOX practices.Implement changes in FASB accounting rules for US GAAP and ensure ongoing tracking and complianceProvide support on non routine andor significant transactions as needed.Ensure that all documentation complies with CareDxs regulations amp SEC amp GAAP reporting guidelines.Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to as regulatory changes occur to maintain compliance.DocumentMaintain controls in place and perform control gap analysisStay up to date on technical accounting pronouncements.Participate in special projects and other initiatives as assigned.QualificationsBA BS degree in Accounting or Finance required.MBA or studying for MBA preferred.Certified Public Accountant or studying for exam.2 4 years experience.At least 2 years public accounting preferred.Strong background with SEC filings 10K 10Q and internal controlsGAAP practicesprotocols.Excellent current technical accounting skills.Experience with in sourcing SEC reporting with WebFilings or other reporting software desired.Knowledge of xBRL tagging desiredBenefits amp PerksWe provide Medical Dental Vision and Life Insurance Flexible Spending and Dependent Care Accounts Commuter Accounts 401k 3 weeks of vacation 5 days sick leave 1 personal floating holiday 9 paid holidays gym reimbursement ping pong foosball BBQs social hours and moreWork EnvironmentTravel is not a primary aspect of this position although travel may be requested from time to time.
