Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking two (2) Systems Engineering Department Manager 3 to join our Engineering and Manufacturing team within Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division to be located in Roy, Utah or Huntsville, AL. Relocation assistance may be provided.

As the Department Manager for MS&A you will be responsible for managing career and personnel development, enabling program success through people, processes, tools, and training, and providing program and business support where needed to help ensure overall success. You will also have frequent contact with equivalent level managers and programs to maintain and exceed health and performance across the organization for all programs.
The successful candidate will be the functional / managerial leader of a team of engineers focused on Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A). This team is focused on design analysis & optimization, technical performance measure (TPM) reporting, and weapon system assessment for systems in all phases of the lifecycle. The ability to understand this scope is essential.
As the Department Manager for Systems Safety, you will be responsible for managing planning, risk, project performance, addressing, schedule, technical quality, and addressing technical or operational problems when necessary. Will assist engineers and program staff to develop and maintain talent within the organization. Have frequent contact with equivalent level managers and programs to maintain and exceed health and performance for all programs. The successful candidate will lead engineers spanning the System Safety teams.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
