**Job Title:** Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
**Location:** Atlanta, GA/Overland Park, KS
**Job Description:**
The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of software development by designing, developing, and maintaining automated and manual test suites. The ideal candidate will work closely with product owners, system analysts, developers, and external vendors to achieve the following:
**Responsibilities:**
**Test Design & Execution:**
+ Assist in designing test cases for unit, functional, performance, scalability, and durability testing.
+ Identify end-to-end scenarios that simulate operational and business processes.
+ Exhibit exceptional debugging skills to identify root causes of test failures.
**Test Management:**
+ Regularly manage and groom automated and manual test suites to balance coverage with fast feedback cycles.
+ Develop and maintain test plans in collaboration with product stakeholders.
+ Design, document, and manage functional, integration, and regression test suites.
**Code Quality & Integration:**
+ Analyze code coverage using tools such as SonarQube.
+ Ensure automated tests are integrated into the Continuous Delivery pipeline.
**Continuous Improvement:**
+ Pursue ongoing education and training to grow and maintain technical skills and expertise.
+ Proactively identify and mitigate risks, removing obstacles to progress.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred.
+ Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Angular; knowledge of SonarQube, CI/CD.
+ Experience designing and managing automated/manual test suites.
+ Exceptional debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
+ Proven track record in a DevOps environment with 24x7 support.
+ Commitment to continuous learning and proactive risk management.
The base salary range for this position is $91,457 - $137,186, plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays.
