Scrum Master

We are looking for a Scrum Master to guide and coach multiple Scrum Teams within the Data and Analytics team at Foot Locker, Inc. This individual will be responsible for gathering the team(s) for their journey using your coaching and facilitation skills to drive efficiency. This is not your typical Scrum Master role, as you will have to think outside the box and put those problem-solving skills to use. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, inquisitive, understand the “why” behind the Scrum Events, relatable and being comfortable with being uncomfortable. Our teams within Data and Analytics at Foot Locker, Inc move fast and deliver high-quality features and products. Responsibilities PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES: Guide and coach multiple Scrum teams (2-3) with different team sizes, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc. Responsible for facilitating daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, backlog grooming / refinement and retrospective meetings Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution for the team(s) Remove internal or external impediments or guide the team to remove impediments  Ensure observance of DoD (definition of done) Support and educate the TPM/POC, especially with respect to refining (i.e. grooming) and managing the product backlog, to ensure that the work is well understood so the team can continually make progress Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information Demonstrates awareness and deep understanding of team metric: velocity and cycle time. Qualifications POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachleor's degree or equivalent experience Minimum 1 year of dedicated full-time Scrum Master Experience in software development (preferred). Experience being a Scrum Master on multiple Scrum teams. Certification preferred. Strong understanding of software development life cycle and DevOps Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency Knowledge about tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories etc.  Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Plainview PPM Pro Excellent communication and mentoring skills Experience with Data teams a plus At Foot Locker, we value innovation, authenticity, and integrity in all that we do. Benefits The annual base salary range is $70000-$85000 This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
