Scrum Master
Our client, a Fortune 30 retailer, is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to guide cross-functional agile teams operating across Security, Data, and Networking domains. This role is critical in supporting the organization’s cloud transformation initiatives and will work across multiple agile teams and programs to ensure effective delivery using Agile SDLC practices. You will be responsible for guiding and mentoring Scrum/Kanban teams, managing agile ceremonies, coaching for continuous improvement, and ensuring delivery of complex business-oriented technology solutions. **Job Title: Scrum Master** **Location:** Hybrid – Charlotte, NC or Cincinnati, OH **Type:** W2 Contract – Not open to C2C **Terms:** 6-month contract with strong potential for extension **Rate:** 55-$60/hr **Top Skills:** Multi-team coordination, Cross-functional experience, Kanban expertise **Key Responsibilities:** + Guide, coach, and motivate teams to increase productivity and agile maturity + Organize and lead all Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives) + Foster a safe, trusting team environment with open communication and productive conflict resolution + Remove impediments or guide the team to remove them + Promote Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, XP, Lean Thinking, and Agile values + Oversee team delivery to meet scope, timelines, and quality expectations + Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment + Partner with other Scrum Masters and participate in Scrum of Scrums + Support and empower teams to self-organize and own delivery outcomes + Facilitate cross-team coordination and manage delivery across multiple teams + Ensure compliance with internal Agile SDLC practices and tooling standards + Enable continuous improvement using data-driven retrospectives + Provide clear reports on team progress, blockers, and success metrics + Support data integration teams and deliver against business-critical cloud migration projects **What’s Needed?** + 5+ years of Scrum Master experience in large-scale, enterprise environments + Proven experience supporting multiple Agile teams simultaneously + Background in technical or Agile-related roles (QA, Dev, PO, Agile Coach) + Deep knowledge of Agile frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc. + Experience facilitating agile ceremonies across cross-functional teams + Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence all levels + Skilled in working with diverse personalities in a matrixed environment + Experience with cloud transformation, especially in Security, Networking, and Data domains + Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and handling sensitive data is a plus + Ability to manage stakeholders and balance business/technology priorities + Experience with Jira and Confluence for tracking, reporting, and dashboards + Knowledge of Agile metrics and practices for team performance tracking **What’s in it for me?** + Opportunity to contribute to a major cloud transformation initiative + Work in a high-impact, cross-functional role with enterprise visibility + Medical, dental, and vision benefits offered (via staffing vendor) + Access to upskilling and certification opportunities + Paid holidays after 6 months of contracting **About ManpowerGroup, Parent Company of: Manpower, Experis, Talent Solutions, and Jefferson Wells** _ManpowerGroup® (NYSE: MAN), the leading global workforce solutions company, helps organizations transform in a fast-changing world of work by sourcing, assessing, developing, and managing the talent that enables them to win.
