Our client, a Fortune 30 retailer, is seeking a Scrum Master to join their team. As a Scrum Master, you will support two agile teams working within the Supply Chain domain, specifically focused on Data Engineering and Warehouse Inventory Tracking.
**Job Title:** Scrum Master
**Location:** Hybrid – Charlotte, NC or Cincinnati, OH
**Type:** W2 contract – not open to C2C
**Terms:** 12-month contract; potential to convert FTE

**What’s the Job?**
+ Guide, coach, and motivate agile teams to achieve high performance and continuous improvement.
+ Support and mentor teams through Agile maturity with a sustainable, team-driven approach.
+ Build a safe and trusting environment promoting transparency, open communication, and productive conflict resolution.
+ Empower teams to self-organize and take ownership of delivery outcomes.
+ Promote a culture of accountability and results through regular inspect-and-adapt practices.
+ Lead all Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, retrospectives, demos).
+ Support Agile planning activities including PI Planning, release planning, and sprint planning.
+ Maintain alignment with Agile SDLC practices, ensuring adherence to internal standards and tooling guidelines.
+ Actively participate in Scrum of Scrums and facilitate cross-team coordination.
+ Proactively identify and remove impediments or escalate where necessary.
+ Support teams in delivering high-quality results aligned with sprint and program goals.
+ Facilitate decision-making, conflict resolution, and promote agile best practices.
+ Collaborate closely with Product Owners, business partners, and technical stakeholders.
+ Drive alignment between business goals, timelines, and team capabilities.
+ Ensure accurate and timely communication of team progress, risks, and dependencies.
+ Partner with other Scrum Masters to manage cross-team delivery risks and dependencies.
+ Use Jira and Confluence to manage backlogs, track team performance, and create dashboards/reports.
+ Provide coaching to teams on tooling best practices for visibility and efficiency.
**What’s Needed?**
+ 5+ years of Scrum Master experience in large-scale, enterprise-level Agile environments.
+ Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile SDLC practices.
+ Experience supporting cross-functional teams and coordinating across multiple stakeholders.
+ Previous experience in technical or Agile-related roles (e.g., QA, Development, Product Owner, or Agile Coach).
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence across all organizational levels.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and agile teams in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
+ Familiarity with supply chain domain areas is a plus.
