**Job Title: Screw Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated individuals to operate and set up Acme Gridley Screw machines to manufacture parts for tool bit holders. These machines, though older, are essential due to their unique functionality. The role involves loading stock into the spindles and inspecting parts upon completion. **Responsibilities** + Operate and set up Acme Gridley Screw machines. + Load stock into the spindles. + Inspect completed parts for quality and precision. **Essential Skills** + Experience in CNC machine operating. + Proficiency with screw machines and manual lathes. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Proficient use of micrometers and calipers. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience with Acme Gridley screw machines is preferred but not mandatory. + Experience with manual machinist tasks is beneficial. + Familiarity with machines similar to manual lathe/swiss machines is advantageous. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy excellent benefits and a supportive work culture where the owner values humility, a desire to learn, and smart growth.
