We’re looking for a skilled Screw Machine Operator to join a growing manufacturing team. This position involves setting up and operating automatic screw machines to produce precision metal parts according to specifications. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, selecting proper tooling, adjusting machine settings, performing quality inspections, and maintaining equipment. Set up and operate single or multi-spindle screw machines.
Interpret blueprints, work orders, and part specifications.
Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy and quality.
Make necessary adjustments to tooling, feeds, and speeds.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
Basic math and problem-solving skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
