**Scraper Operator - Pampa, TX** **$830 per diem** **Job Description** + Operate **tractor scrapers** (e.g., CAT 621, 627, 631, 637 or similar) to perform **cut, haul, and fill operations** on a large-scale site + Work closely with **dozer, grader, compactor, and water truck operators** to maintain production flow and proper soil conditions + Follow **grade stakes, plans, and direction from grading foreman** to ensure accurate fills and slopes + Maintain safe operating practices around other equipment, laborers, and truck traffic + Conduct **pre‑operation inspections** and basic equipment care (fueling, greasing, reporting issues) + Maintain consistent production while meeting **schedule and quality requirements** for data center standards + Adhere to all **site safety policies** , including OSHA and client‑specific requirements **Responsibilities** + Scarify and prepare terrain, including breaking up and loosening dirt. + Operate effectively on both rocky and standard earth terrains. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of experience operating a scraper + Proficiency with 627 CAT scraper + Ability to operate on mass grading sites for commercial projects ranging from 200k to 20 million yards of dirt. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in heavy equipment, commercial construction, civil construction, grading, earthwork, and earth moving. + Familiarity with finish grade, Total Station, GPS, GPS Motor Grader, and GPS Blade. + Valid driver's license preferred. + Ability to drive company vehicles and travel to various job sites nationwide. **Why Work Here?** This position offers a weekly per diem and the opportunity for 20-35 hours of overtime per week.
