Position Summary

As SCM Coordinator you will be part of the RPM Display Team which is responsible for all activities of the supply chain of monitors in Europe. This position is within Samsung Electronics Europe Logistics B.V. (SELS) based in Delft. SELS is the Central European logistics organization of Samsung Electronics which functions as a logistics and financial control tower within SEC Europe, with a focused role in logistics & supply chain strategy, innovation and monitoring. SELS has approximately 100 employees divided over various department and locations within the Netherlands (Delft, Breda and Tilburg).

This role supports multiple sales subsidiaries by managing and optimizing the supply chain of monitors in Europe which are distributed from the Centralized Warehouses located in the Netherlands (NL) & Slovakia (SK).

Role and Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

Sales support

Act as an intermediary for subsidiaries, production sites and HQ with regards to;PSI management e.g. move allocation & stock transfer orders, allocation support.SCM related questions or requests e.g. (order & delivery status, track and trace, pricing, allocation, new product, logistics, configurations, special shipments, stock availability etc.)Manage the inbound by analyzing priorities based on; order situation, forecast, on-hand stock and MA optionsAnalyze and manage the stock moves between CDC and overflow location resulting in a healthy stock balanceReview & execute options for direct shipments, bypassing our CDCReview weekly SOP and propose adjustments based on analyzed stock situationSupport factories with PO changes and provide ad-hoc support in case of issues

Reporting and projects

Analyze aging stock and determine actions to reduce non-sellable stockAnalyze forecasts, orders and relevant data in order to create improvements to processes and procedures.Stock management by analyzing most suitable storage set-up taking into account aging and stock levelsPropose process improvements and implement approved proposals in order to increase efficiency/ effectiveness/ process qualityCoordinate and execute small improvement projects in order to enhance value added activities, procedures and systems

Profile:

For this role, we are looking for a candidate with strong analytical and communication skills. This position requires fluency in the English language.  Our candidate is a flexible problem-solver with a strong hands-on mentality that is able to work in teams. Stress resistance and helicopter view are key.

We are looking for a person with:

A Bachelor degree in Logistics / Supply Chain or related fieldFluent in EnglishStrong analytical skillsStrong communication skills0-4 years working experienceExcellent MS Office skills (Excel, experienced / interested in VBA Macro or Scripting)Interested in learning Qlik SenseExperience with ERP systems is preferred
