Responsibilities:
We are seeking a motivated Scientist to join our Formulation Discovery team. The successful candidate will have a background in the preparation and characterization of nanoparticle-based delivery systems for nucleic acid therapeutics. In addition, the candidate will have to work in a multidisciplinary fast-paced team environment.
Design and preparation of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for early-stage evaluation of delivery of nucleic acid payloads in cell-based and preclinical animal models.Characterization of LNPs through HPLC, DLS, spectroscopic techniques such as UV-Vis and fluorescence, ribogreen assays, and pKA.After successful screening and identification of lead LNP formulations, the candidate will have the opportunity to further streamline and advance the formulation towards clinical development.Design, preparation, and characterization of lipid nanoparticles for screening efficient delivery of nucleic acid payloads in preclinical animal models.Prepare technical reports and presentations pertaining to formulation developmentGenerate/write protocols, and SOPs.Cross-functional collaborationOther duties as assignedBasic Requirements:

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$71,250 - $187,000Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
