This role bridges the gap between science and technology, with a strong focus on ensuring laboratory and office application environments are functional, well-supported, and continuously improved. Skills and Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a scientific discipline; advanced degree preferred. · Experience working in a preclinical laboratory environment (No CROs).  · Minimum 5 years of experience supporting IT systems within pharmaceutical or biotechnology research environments, including laboratory and office applications.  · Proven experience supporting scientific applications and research workflows in discovery, research, or preclinical settings.  · Working knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux environments, as well as AWS Cloud services (e.g., S3, EC2, IAM, Lambda).  · Experience with IT ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred).  · Familiarity with cybersecurity, intellectual property protection, compliance standards, and lab network segmentation in research environments.  · Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to document clearly and follow issues through to resolution.  · Experience coordinating with vendors and contributing to enhancement planning and prioritization. - Working familiarity with FAIR data principles and laboratory workflows preferred, with the ability to support systems operating within broader data pipelines.
