Job Summary Job SummarySFUSD places professional development at the forefront of our program’s mission. We seek talented masters-level, pre-doctoral, and post-doctoral candidates from diverse backgrounds who are inspired by our mission of equity and who are comfortable in a community of continuous learning and professional growth. We are able to offer a comprehensive training program involving depth and breadth of experience in all areas of school psychology, including: - Comprehensive psychoeducational, social-emotional, and behavioral assessments using the most current instruments and methodologies - Mental health counseling in individual and group formats - Consultation with Teachers/School/Family - Cases drawn from across all age levels, service levels, and disability categories In addition to this comprehensive training, optional rotations for specialized experience include: - Preschool Assessment Team - Non-Public School and Private/Parochial Team - Educationally-Related Mental Health Services Team - Low Incidence Disabilities Team Supervision and Support - Weekly individual supervision with site supervisor and/or district internship director - Weekly multidisciplinary group supervision - Weekly small-group case consultation - Bi-monthly new hire/intern trainings - Monthly professional development trainings - Competitive internship stipend (post-doctoral fellows receive staff salary and benefits)
