FTE: 0.5 Job Code: 17PYIN Position Type: Intern Location: Thornton, CO Summary:Adams 12 Five Star Schools will have multiple School Psychology Internship vacancies for the2026-2027 school year. Adams 12 Five Star Schools is located within the Denver Metro area, is the sixth largest school district in Colorado, and serves approximately 39,000 students. Interns have the opportunity to provide a comprehensive range of services including counseling, consultation, special education assessments, participation in the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) process, behavior intervention planning, and assistance with the MTSS model. The district has a strong school mental health model, with most providers serving a single school. Interns will have more than one site placement with different supervisors to gain a variety of experiences. We focus on giving trainees a solid foundation in the essential skills, while also providing a wide range of experiences and specialized training that will allow interns to develop into confident professionals. Supervisors are on site and will provide 2 hours weekly supervision. Seminars and Professional Development opportunities are integral parts of the Internship. NOTE: All school psychology vacancies are subject to change pend ing budgetary approval for the2022-2023 fiscal year. NECESSARY SKILLS AND BACKGROUND: Masters and/or doctoral-level candidates from NASP-approved school psychology programs. Student must be in good standing with his/her University.
