School Psychologist

Compensation: $63K-$78K per year

Job Type: Full Time. Monday - Friday. Day shift.

Our client, a school dedicated to supporting children with disabilities, is seeking a School Psychologist for their Queens, NY location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological evaluations and gather social and developmental histories for children ages 3-5. Prepare clear, comprehensive diagnostic and psychological reports. Provide evidence-based recommendations and collaborate with therapeutic teams to develop effective interventions. Participate in treatment planning, feedback sessions, and interdisciplinary team meetings. Foster positive communication among supervisors, employees, and families. Ensure compliance with all relevant government regulations and agency standards. Deliver group and individual counseling, as well as parent training, in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Attend IEP conferences, annual reviews, and other required meetings.

Job Requirements:

Certified School Psychologist Proficiency in the Behavior Assessment System for Children-3 (BASC-3)
