Position Start Date License/Certification School Psychologist As soon as available School Psychology Minimum Salary: $50,200 (Step 1 with Bachelor's Degree) *Salary will be regionally competitive and commensurate with education level and years of experience. Typical Job Responsibilities: Assessment & Evaluation + Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students + Collaborate with school staff, families, and support teams as needed + Maintain accurate documentation and records Consultation & Collaboration + Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs + Provide consultation on instructional strategies, behavior management, and mental health supports + Work as a member of the multidisciplinary team to monitor student progress and develop interventions. Prevention & Systems Support + Implement short-term crisis intervention and support services. + Develop and oversee behavior intervention plans in collaboration with school staff. + Support school-wide initiatives related to positive behavior, social-emotional learning, and mental health awareness. Meeting Leadership, Communication & Coordination + Facilitate CPSE and CSE meetings to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (IDEA and NYS Part 200). + Guide the committee through the process of reviewing evaluations, determining eligibility, and developing IEPs. + Coordinating and leading the preschool evaluation team + Facilitating Early Intervention to CPSE transition planning and coordination services for preschool students.
