Scheduling Supervisor
**Position Overview** The Scheduling Supervisor’s primary responsibility is to lead the inbound scheduling operation, overseeing the creation and scheduling of delivery appointments to Burlington’s network of distribution centers. The Scheduling Supervisor ensures the Scheduling Coordinators and Specialists are executing their duties by creating appointments and providing timely responses, with accuracy, for our carriers and vendors. This role will collaborate with internal and external partners daily, providing service that matches the variable goals of Burlington’s off-price business environment. **A Day In The Life** **Communication and collaboration** + Communicate with various internal departments, external partners, vendors, and carriers to ensure seamless scheduling and delivery operations. + Effective collaboration with warehouse operations across Burlington’s network of Distribution Centers, transportation teams, and vendors. Anticipate issues and coordinate solutions to achieve the service goals. **Problem solving** **, Accuracy and urgency** + Demonstrate performance with urgency and attention to detail when addressing scheduling conflicts, carrier delays, or operational challenges. **Coaching and development** + Oversee departmental efficiency by mentoring, coaching, and supporting scheduling associates. Provides consistent feedback and training to strengthen team performance. + Maintain, enhance, and develop processes to improve accuracy, productivity, and service levels. **Compliance** **and** **Reporting** + Maintain accurate documentation, generate timely reports, and leverage data to track performance, identify trends, and recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency and accountability. **Systems** + Utilize a suite of applications and reports to execute the responsibilities of the department. These include Manhattan WMS and TMS, Oracle-based applications, SQL and various other Burlington generated reporting. **You'll Come With** + ​2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain operations, or transportation; supervisory or team lead experience preferred. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and other PC applications. Ability to multi-task. Problem solving. + Ability to communicate with a diverse group of business partners. Ability to work under pressure to meet the goals and changes in direction that comes with working in an off-price retailer. **Come join our team.
