**Job Description​** Provides customer service to patients, families, physicians, physician offices, the community, and internal departments throughout SLHS for assigned location. This includes but is not limited to: + Answering phone + Scheduling + Routing calls to correct departments (Centralized scheduling, nursing staff, etc.) + View and return or route voice messages as needed + Problem solving concerns and issues to insure appropriate for Same Day clinic + Reminder of financial responsibility - copay or pre-payment + Providing patient instructions and education regarding preparations for visit + Able to answer scheduling calls with minimal support. + Demonstrates quality customer service. + Participates in timely efficient workflow. This position is responsible for answering incoming calls and scheduling patients appropriately with providers. + Provides exceptional customer service to patients, families, physicians, physician offices and the community + Scheduling Established patients only in EMR, updating/verifying: including demographics, patient contacts and insurance information + Verifies patient's insurance for eligibility and benefits utilizing Epic Real Time Eligibility and insures filing order is correct + Other duties as assigned as position evolves **Job Requirements** Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year Diploma **Job Details** Full Time Day (United States of America) **_The best place to get care.
