Job Description A large Material Handling Company is looking for a SCADA Engineer. As a Controls SCADA Engineer, you will manage in-house servers to launch visualization systems and oversee installations of new systems in the office before deploying them to customer sites. You’ll build and configure servers, compress data, and work closely with customers to ensure smooth integration—even when networks are not fully ready. Acting as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for SCADA-related matters, you will develop and configure SCADA solutions using Ignition, WinCC, and TGW’s proprietary SAV software. Your role includes diagnosing and resolving issues in control systems and Linux-based environments, troubleshooting connectivity challenges, and deploying virtual machines to maintain infrastructure efficiency. Additionally, you’ll perform basic PLC programming with Siemens TIA Portal and Rockwell Studio 5000 to support automation processes, while leveraging your flexibility to handle multiple technologies rather than specializing in just one. Salary Ranges from 80,000 to 105,000 based on experience. Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings and paid leave as provided by applicable law. Skills and Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in controls or electrical engineering field (associates degree+ strong experience will also suffice) Minimum 3 years of experience with SCADA Engineering 3+ years of controls related experience (preferable in a automation or material handling environment) Strong PLC experience (Siemens TIA is preferred)- Rockwell or Allen Bradley are also acceptable Well versed in control systems troubleshooting, PLC programming, and SCADA systems such as Ignition and WinCC Bachelor's Degree Direct Automated Material Handling Experience
