Saw Machine Operator
**Job Title: Machine Operator** Job Description Begin your journey in the Shipping department to gain a comprehensive understanding of daily operations. After this initial training phase of 2-3 days, you will transition into your designated role, which may include Saw Operating, General Labor, Shipping, or Forklift Operating. Responsibilities + Identify, measure, and cut material with precision. + Clean materials after cutting to maintain quality standards. + Collaborate effectively within a team environment. + Utilize tape measures, calipers, and micrometers accurately. + Apply basic math skills to ensure precision in tasks. + Lift up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the day. + Complete training and obtain certification for forklift operation. + Maintain a high level of work ethic, staying engaged and productive. + Stay actively involved in tasks throughout the day, avoiding idle time. Essential Skills + Proficiency in using tape measures and calipers. + Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. + Capacity to lift heavy materials consistently. + Willingness to learn and obtain forklift certification. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Previous manufacturing experience is advantageous. + Experience in machine operation, production, and tool usage is a plus. + Familiarity with drill press, inspection, loading, hand tools, grinding, machine shop, CNC, and blueprint reading.
