Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator who possesses the ability to use various measurement tools and has knowledge of saw concepts, practices, and procedures. The ideal candidate should be able to read and understand work orders, tolerances, and specifications, and efficiently set up machines, blades, stops or feeding devices, including managing the flow of coolant against the cutting area. This role requires proficiency in properly loading material onto saws using forklifts or other moving equipment, changing blades on saws as needed, and cleaning saws at the end of each shift while adhering to safety procedures and practices.

ResponsibilitiesOperate and set up machines, blades, stops, feeding devices, and manage coolant flow against the cutting area.Read and understand work orders, tolerances, and specifications.Properly load material onto saws using forklifts or other moving equipment.Change blades on saws as required.Clean saws at the end of each shift.Adhere to personal and facility safety procedures and practices.Essential SkillsAbility to read and understand work orders and cutting instructions, both written and on computer program.Knowledge of saws, blades, guards, feeding devices, and coolant flow.Experience in machine operation, including tape measure, bandsaw, general production, saw cut, and blueprint reading.Additional Skills & QualificationsForklift experience is a plus.Ability to work overtime as required.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract position based out of Irwindale, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
