**Job Title** **SAP S/4HANA Transformation – Production Planning / Quality Management Consultant** **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced **SAP S/4HANA PP / QM Consultant** to support **end-to-end SAP S/4HANA transformation and implementation projects** . The consultant will work under the guidance of a Module Lead or Solution Architect and contribute to configuration, testing, data migration support, and post–go-live stabilization of **Production Planning (PP)** and **Quality Management (QM)** processes. This role focuses on **hands-on functional delivery** across manufacturing and quality processes, aligned with SAP S/4HANA best practices and industry standards. **Key Responsibilities** **SAP PP & QM Configuration** + Configure and support **SAP S/4HANA PP** processes including: + Master Data (Material Master, BOM, Work Centers, Routings) + Demand Management and MRP + Production Orders and Process Orders + Capacity Planning and Production Execution + Configure and support **SAP S/4HANA QM** processes including: + Inspection Planning and Inspection Types + Quality Notifications and Defect Management + Usage Decisions and Results Recording + Quality Certificates and Batch Management (where applicable) **S/4HANA Transformation Support** + Support **ECC to S/4HANA conversions** or greenfield implementations. + Apply **S/4HANA manufacturing and quality simplifications** and innovations. + Assist in **Fit-to-Standard (F2S)** workshops and requirement clarification. **Integration & Cross-Module Collaboration** + Work closely with **MM, WM/EWM, SD, PM, and FI/CO** teams to ensure seamless integration. + Support integration across **Procure-to-Produce** and **Plan-to-Produce** processes. + Coordinate with technical teams (ABAP, interfaces) for RICEFW objects impacting PP/QM. **Testing & Data Migration** + Prepare and execute **unit testing and SIT test cases** for PP and QM scenarios. + Support **UAT** , defect resolution, and business user clarification. + Assist with **data migration validation** for manufacturing and quality master data and open transactions. **Go-Live & Hypercare** + Support **cutover activities** , including production and quality data readiness. + Provide **hypercare support** , troubleshooting PP/QM issues post go-live. + Document issues, resolutions, and process changes. **Documentation & Methodology** + Prepare and maintain: + Functional specifications + Configuration documents + Test scripts and user guides + Follow **SAP Activate methodology** and project standards. **Required Skills & Experience** **SAP PP & QM Expertise** + 5–8 years of SAP functional experience in: + SAP PP (Discrete or Process Manufacturing) + SAP QM + At least **one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation or conversion project** + Strong understanding of **manufacturing and quality management processes** **S/4HANA & Manufacturing Knowledge** + Hands-on experience with: + S/4HANA PP configuration + MRP simplifications and real-time processing + QM integration with MM and PP + Exposure to **Batch Management, Serial Numbers, and Variant Configuration** is a plus + Knowledge on LeanIX, Signavio for process flow preparation and discussion with business team, is an added advantage. **Preferred Qualifications** + SAP S/4HANA or SAP PP / QM certification + Experience with **SAP Activate methodology** + Industry experience in Manufacturing, Automotive, Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Goods, or Chemicals + Exposure to **EWM, PM, or Advanced Planning tools** (PP/DS, IBP) is an advantage **Soft Skills** + Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills + Good communication and documentation abilities + Ability to work effectively in **onshore–offshore delivery models** + Willingness to learn and adopt S/4HANA innovations **Location & Work Model** + Location: As per project needs + Work Model: Hybrid / Onsite / Offshore (project dependent)
