Full Time Contract/Right to Hire Title or Role: SAP Consultant (S/4HANA) Compensation: Up to $70.00/hour Commensurate with experience Location: Onsite Durham NC - Hybrid Length of Contract: 6 months Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA associate to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing client during a critical transition phase. This is a unique opportunity to join the team just prior to Go-Live to ensure a seamless transition from the S/4HANA implementation phase to steady-state operations. The focus will be on the long-term stability and optimization of the S/4HANA ecosystem. You will lead support for non-GxP business processes, ensuring that Finance, Procurement, and Project Management modules are optimized for daily production use. Responsibilities: + S/4HANA Transition & Stabilization: Support the functional transition of the system from the Pre-Go-Live phase through Hypercare and into stabilized production daily operations. + Cross-Module Oversight: Provide functional support and troubleshooting across the S/4HANA suite, including: + Finance & Controlling : General Ledger, AP/AR, and cost management within the S/4HANA environment. + Procurement & Ariba: Managing the source-to-pay lifecycle and integration with S/4HANA. + Project Systems & Enterprise portfolio Management: Overseeing enterprise portfolio and project management workflows. + Process Optimization: Identify and implement post-go-live process improvements to leverage S/4HANA-specific features (e.g., Fiori apps, real-time reporting). + User Empowerment: Assist in finalizing end-user documentation and providing functional guidance to business users as they navigate the new S/4HANA interface. Qualifications: + Experience: 5–8 years of dedicated SAP support or functional consulting experience, with a specific focus on SAP S/4HANA. + S/4HANA Proficiency: Deep understanding of S/4HANA functional architecture and the differences from legacy SAP environments. + Pharma Context: While this role focuses on non-GxP systems, familiarity with the pace and structure of a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is a significant plus. Education/Certifications: + Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. + Certification: SAP S/4HANA Certification is preferred; however, equivalent long-term experience in an S/4HANA support environment will be considered.
