Sanitation Workers, $16.50/hr, 1st Shift M-F - START ASAP!
Job Title: Janitorial Worker We are looking for 8-10 Sanitation/Janitorial workers for a local plant in Topeka, KSThis will be a 2 week project (40 hours each week) and has a possibility of being hired on to work longer than the 2 weeks.

1st Shift Hours (Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM)

$16.10/hour

Job Description

Join our team as a Janitorial Worker, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the Mars plant in Topeka, KS. This position is essential for preparing the facility for an upcoming visit, and your efforts will contribute to a welcoming and pristine environment.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain the facility by wiping down walls, cleaning pipes, edging, and maintaining floors.Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hair/beard nets, eye and ear protection, and hard hats.Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times.

Essential Skills

Previous cleaning experience is highly advantageous.Ability to perform janitorial duties and production cleaning efficiently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Completion of contractor safety training on the first day.

Work Environment

The position is based at the Mars plant in Topeka, KS, and operates on the day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. All necessary PPE will be provided, except for steel-toed shoes, which employees must supply. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and GMPs in a production setting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
