We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization on the production floor, ensuring that all sanitation procedures are followed and that the facility is free from debris. This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with machinery consistently running.
ResponsibilitiesKeep areas of the production floor clean and organized.Take out garbage and restock sanitation supplies.Use cleaning chemicals to sanitize surfaces and floors.Help on the packaging line when needed.Learn and follow sanitation procedures to clean and sanitize equipment and floors.Operate machines safely and wash and sanitize equipment, bins, and tools.Maintain areas such as footbaths and hygiene areas.Lift buckets of water (35kgs) and metal trays repetitively (10kgs).
Essential SkillsExperience in packaging, production line, or sanitation.Ability to stand, lift, and move for 8 hours.Comfortable lifting 40 lbs repetitively.Proficient in English.Willing to wear safety goggles throughout the shift.Comfortable working in 8-10 degree temperatures.Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in food production or packaging.Sanitation experience is a plus.

Work Environment
You will work in a food manufacturing facility with lots of conveyors and machines running continuously. The environment is fast-paced and maintained at a temperature of 8-10 degrees. The dress code includes steel toe work boots, lab coats, hair nets, gloves, and beard nets if needed. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with potential for overtime.
