Job Title: Sanitation Worker

Job Description

The Sanitation Worker is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing floors using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies, disinfecting production equipment and machinery, and removing waste in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations. Additionally, this role involves maintaining cleaning supplies and requesting additional supplies as needed, following all safety protocols while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and potentially reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor. Working shift from 3:30PM-12:00AM

ResponsibilitiesClean and sanitize floors using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies.Clean and disinfect production equipment and machinery.Remove waste and dispose of it in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.Maintain cleaning supplies and request additional supplies as needed.Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.Assist with other cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed.Essential SkillsExperience in cleaning and janitorial work.Ability to sanitize equipment and machinery.Knowledge of waste disposal in accordance with environmental regulations.Proficiency in maintaining cleaning supplies and inventory.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious production experience is preferred.Experience in food production and manufacturing environments.Why Work Here

Work Environment

The work environment consists of a line with 20 to 30 people packing and packaging products. The shift runs from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, with potential overtime and occasional Saturday work. Employees are integrated into the production line and are expected to adhere to safety protocols while wearing personal protective equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SAN FRANCISCO, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.43 - $19.43/hr.
