Job Description
Effectively clean all assigned areas inside and outside the manufacturing plant, including equipment, machinery, and general grounds. Adhere to food safety standards and proficiently use plant touch screens and follow CIP (Clean-in-Place) procedures. Adhere to HAACP principles and demonstrate safe and proper use of cleaning tools, including squeegees, mops, brooms, hand and floor scrapers, paint brushes, and other necessary equipment. Understand labeling on cleaning products and sanitizers.
Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize all assigned areas within the manufacturing plant, including both indoor and outdoor spaces.Ensure compliance with food safety standards and HAACP principles.Utilize plant touch screens and follow CIP procedures efficiently.Operate cleaning tools such as squeegees, mops, brooms, hand and floor scrapers, and paint brushes safely.Read and comprehend labeling on cleaning products and sanitizers.Essential Skills
Proven experience in sanitation within a manufacturing setting (2-3 years preferred).Knowledge of HAACP principles and food safety standards.Familiarity with GMP practices.Ability to use cleaning tools proficiently.Understanding of labeling and usage of cleaning products and sanitizers.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Sanitation or janitorial experience from another industry is considered.Experience in food production and manufacturing is beneficial.Chemical handling knowledge is a plus.Work Environment
The work environment is a fast-paced, production-based setting with a focus on communication.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
