We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Technician responsible for the thorough cleaning and upkeep of our facility. This role ensures that all processing equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized, maintaining the highest standards of food safety and regulatory compliance.
ResponsibilitiesClean production areas, including floors, surfaces, and machinery used in candy manufacturing.Follow sanitation schedules to meet food safety and regulatory standards.Use cleaning chemicals and tools safely according to company procedures.Support production teams by preparing clean equipment for the next shift.Essential SkillsExperience in production, janitorial, and sanitizing roles.Knowledge of HACCP, sanitation, and food safety protocols.Familiarity with standard operating procedures (SOP), cleaning, and sanitizing techniques.Understanding of FDA regulations and food production standards.Experience in food manufacturing and the food industry.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrior experience in sanitation or food production is required.Work EnvironmentWork in a food production setting focused on candy manufacturing. The environment emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and maintaining high sanitation standards.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Delafield, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
