Sanitation Team Lead (Bilingual Required)

Our client, a leading player in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Team Lead for the Sanitation department to join their team. As a Team Lead , you will be part of the Sanitation department supporting a dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have **2+ years in manufacturing performing sanitation work,** strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a team-oriented environment, and a thorough knowledge of food processing and manufacturing, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Bilingual Sanitation Team Lead
**Location:** Shirley, NY
**Pay Range:** $20 - $22.25 per hour
**Schedule** : Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm (30-minute break)
**Duration:** Temp-to-Hire
**What's the Job?**
+ Lead the daily plant sanitation functions and manage sanitation employees to ensure compliance with quality and sanitation improvement processes.
+ Train all Sanitation Technicians on sanitation procedures and promote safety and food safety policies.
+ Plan and execute cleaning and sanitation activities to ensure readiness for production.
+ Monitor equipment conditions through preventive maintenance and inspections.
+ Create a continuous improvement environment by engaging in problem-solving and leading others to do the same.
**What's Needed?**
+ Completion of high school education or equivalent.
+ **Bilingual ENG/ESP**
+ **Minimum of 2-3 years of sanitation experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.**
+ Knowledge of computer skills including Microsoft Office.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Familiarity with GMPs, SSOPs, HACCP, and AIB.
